The historic old town is a world apart from the modern Marbella that surrounds it. The streets are cobbled, narrow alleyways of whitewashed houses and it is a very peaceful, inspirational place to live. The beach is immaculate with a wide promenade and an extensive choice of Chiringuitos (beach bar/restaurants) to choose from.
The plans for the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom new build, terraced town house and adjoining 1 bedroom apartment are non-negotiable on the exterior of the property but fully flexible within to suit tastes and needs. At present the plans are as follows:
The façade of the building is traditional in style to complement the historic, whitewashed neighbouring properties.
Inside, the accommodation is over 3 storeys of 156M2.
Outside space includes a patio garden of 11M2 and a sunny roof terrace of 23M2 suitable for a good size Jacuzzi.
The ground floor of the house is currently designed to accommodate a living/dining room with access onto the patio and a separate kitchen. It would be possible to include a cloakroom on this level. The attached apartment at this level is designed with one bedroom, one bathroom and an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. It could also be designed as business premises.
The first floor has been designed to include 2 en-suite bedrooms.
The second floor has been designed to include the third en-suite bedroom with its own private terrace. There is also access to another terrace which will accommodate a good size Jacuzzi. Views from here will be over the roof tops of the old town towards the mountains
The plot has been cleared and construction will soon begin.
The layout of the Old Town is nearly the same as in the sixteenth century and there are significant historical features dating back to this time. There is also evidence of Roman occupation scattered through the Old Town.
While being a very historic place to live, it is also very practical. There are supermarkets, butchers, greengrocers and bakers all within easy walking distance, also banks, dry cleaners, shoe repairers etc.
The buses run from the main road that passes through Marbella between the Old Town and the sea, and it is very easy to get around.
The Old Town is pedestrianized which keeps the area pollution free and quiet.
There is secure parking a short distance away should you feel you need a car.
Malaga airport is an easy journey of around 45 minutes with taxi or public transport readily available.
World renowned, International schooling and state education is available locally.
The price of the completed property is 595,000 Euros which is split into two separate contracts.
